Leen Kuijken
Short biography
Leen studied Mathematics (option Pure Mathematics) at the
University, where she obtained a M.Sc. in Mathematics. From October 1,
1996 until September 30, 2000, she was a Research Fellow of the Flemish Institute for the Promotion of Scientific and Technological Research in Industry (IWT), and a member of
the Fuzziness and Uncertainty Modelling Research Unit. She has prepared a Ph.D. on fuzzy geometry.
Research topics
- Construction and characterization of different models of fuzzy and fibred projective geometries
- Links between fuzzy geometries and fuzzy groups, fuzzy vector spaces and fuzzy graphs
- Construction and characterization of fuzzy and fibred generalized polygons and buildings
